We are currently seeking a Hire Returns Technician to join our Auckland team and play a key role in ensuring our hire fleet is ready to meet customer needs. If you’re hands-on, detail-focused, and enjoy contributing to a dynamic team, this role could be for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prompt inspection, cleaning, and servicing of returned hire equipment.
- Ensure tools are maintained to the highest standard and available for hire without delays.
- Assist the Hire Controller by supporting customer bookings and handling enquiries.
- Monitor and coordinate with the service and calibration teams to minimise downtime for tools in repair.
- Maintain accurate tool records, including test certifications, and ensure tools are shelved neatly and safely.
- Provide solutions when tools are unavailable, such as identifying alternatives or adjusting configurations.
The ideal candidate shall possess:
- Have a mechanical mindset and enjoy hands-on work.
- Show strong attention to detail and take pride in maintaining an organised workspace.
- Be comfortable with basic administrative tasks like stock records and booking systems.
- Display a positive attitude and contribute to a team-focused environment.
- Ideally, have experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical equipment.
